Foodies in the Miami Valley now have a new
resource for gourmet and specialty foods. The tasty selection of
goods has been hand-picked by local firehouse chef and owner Mike
Rice.
The Northmont Chamber of Commerce will perform the ribbon cutting at
11:00am, then an impressive spread of the store's products will be
offered throughout the day for free sampling. |

From breakfast to
a midnight snack, they've got all the bases covered and
promise to deliver convenience and indulgence to your kitchen.
Outdoor chefs will be thrilled with the huge selection of
barbecue sauces, rubs, spices, as well as wood grilling planks
and smoking chips. Hot 'n spicy lovers, get your fix with
dozens of hot sauces and hard-to-find fiery foods! The shelves
are packed with tempting treats to suit anyone's fancy. |

Behind the scenes, you'll find a busy kitchen in which gourmet
mixes are being prepared from scratch by co-owner Robbie Rice.
These mixes have been offered under the label All Mixed Up and
available at the 2nd Street Market in downtown Dayton for over 3 years.
The Firehouse Pantry serves as an expansion of this business,
increasing both the manufacturing facilities and retail
outlets. This product line includes mixes for sweet and savory
dips, breads, cookies, soups, side dishes, coffee, hot
chocolate, pancakes, and seasonal items. Not only are the
items available for retail sale, but are also offered at
wholesale pricing; private labeling has proven to be the most
popular selling point. |
