Recipe: Seasoned Roast Chicken
Good old home cookin', simple and tasty. Serve with Ranch Mashed Potatoes and
corn.
1 whole chicken (remove giblets if included)
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 Tbls.
Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning (or as needed)
1 stalk celery, quartered
1 onion, quartered
~ Place the chicken in a roasting pan. Generously brush the chicken with
butter/margarine. Set aside any remaining butter.
~ Generously sprinkle the Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning over the entire bird.
~ Pour remaining butter into the cavity of the chicken and then place the celery
and onion into the cavity, too.
~ Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour, 15 minutes, or until internal
temperature reaches 180 degrees.
~ Spoon the pan drippings over the chicken, then cover with foil and allow to
rest for 30 minutes before serving.
