This raw cane sugar is an unrefined sugar made from the first crystallization of cane juice. Its large, coarse golden crystals and crunchy texture make it delicious in tea and coffee, sprinkled on top of baked goods and cereals. Recipe: Autumn Apple Spiced Wine
The perfect beverage to serve your Thanksgiving or Christmas guests while they wait on dinner.

750mL bottle of red wine
1/4 cup apple powder
1/4 cup demerara sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

~ Whisk together all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
~ Strain mixture through multiple layers of cheesecloth or a coffee filter in a sieve.
~ Serve hot or cold (your preference) with a cinnamon stick or whole anise star as a garnish.
